Are you ready to be Funkified? Yes- the Funk Monks are back at Blue Frog after sold out performances last year and are ready to blow your socks off! This group, composed of veteran SoCal and Canadian musicians, are bringing their infectious blend of R&B/ Soul and Funk to Blue Frog Studios.
The Funk Monks will take you on a cross-continent song tour that winds through Motown, down to Memphis and out to the Bay area, delivering classic favourites along with some forgotten gems.
Featuring male and female vocalists, they pull from the catalogues of Tower of Power, Kool and the Gang, Cold Blood, Chaka Khan, Boz Scaggs, and a dash of James Brown. Their high energy show with an award-winning horn section will have you up in your seats and singing along all night.
