Linda Ronstadt didn’t just cross genres - she owned them. With more than 100 million albums sold and 12 Grammy Awards, she became one of the first true female superstars in both pop and country music.
By the early 1970s, Ronstadt had emerged as a powerful solo force, working with a revolving cast of top-tier musicians - including players who would soon become the Eagles. Her breakthrough album Heart Like a Wheel delivered enduring hits like “You’re No Good” and “When Will I Be Loved,” along with her Grammy-winning take on Hank Williams’ “I Can’t Help It (If I’m Still in Love with You).”
Classic Ronstadt – The Legacy of Linda brings that era back to the stage with frontwoman D.L. Car, a commanding vocalist also known for her portrayal of Ann Wilson in Vancouver’s acclaimed Heart tribute Barracuda. Backed by an exceptional band of West Coast musicians, this show focuses on the songs that defined Ronstadt’s career and helped shape the sound of American popular music.
