The Legends of Country Guitar celebrates the players who defined the sound, including Merle Travis, Jerry Reed and the legendary Chet Atkins, along with the jazz influence of Django Reinhardt. The show also explores the enormous impact Atkins had on Nashville as a guitarist, producer and record executive, helping shape the careers and sound of some of country music’s biggest names.
Leading the show is award-winning guitarist Dave Barber, whose career includes work with The Chieftains, Colin James, Heidi Newfield of Trick Pony, Barney Bentall and The High Bar Gang.
For fans of great guitar playing and classic country, this is a night built around the music and musicians who helped create the sound.
