Too Slim and the Taildraggers bring hard-driving blues-rock led by guitarist and songwriter Tim “Too Slim” Langford. A powerful player with roots stretching from Lightnin’ Hopkins and Freddie King to Duane Allman and Robin Trower, Langford has built a reputation for gritty guitar work and high-energy performances.
The band’s sound has been described as “straight whiskey blues with a Southern rock beer chaser.” Their latest studio album The Remedy debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top Blues Albums chart, while earlier releases like High Desert Heat, Blood Moon, and Blue Heart have also charted and earned multiple award nominations.
Langford, along with Zach Kasik on bass and Chris Reiser on drums, delivers a tight, road-tested blues-rock show driven by serious musicianship and a long list of acclaimed recordings. Over the years, Langford has received more than 40 regional and national music awards and has been inducted into several Northwest blues halls of fame.
